Healthy Metabolism

Sessions

1 - The Metabolic Health Revolution

Many people still believe that chronic diseases are a natural consequence of aging and that everyone eventually gets them.

There is growing evidence that the majority of chronic diseases we face today are not necessarily an inevitable consequence of aging but rather are driven by underlying metabolic dysfunction.

Problems with metabolism were initially recognized to be the cause of obesity, Type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, and hypertension.  Studies have found almost 90% of Americans suffer from at least one of these four conditions.

Metabolic dysfunction is now understood also to be a root cause for heart attack, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, many cancers, essentially all the diseases of aging.

The tragedy is while the drugs and surgery of modern medicine can treat the symptoms of chronic diseases, they are largely ineffective in treating the underlying metabolic cause. For example, many Type 2 diabetic medicines will lower blood sugar but fail to prevent the underlying insulin resistance and the progression of complications associated with it.

Similarly, coronary artery stents will improve blood flow to the myocardium in a heart disease patient but do nothing to curb the progression of the disease throughout the rest of the body.

Alzheimer’s disease is the ultimate example of our failure where we still don’t have a single drug that will improve even the symptoms of dementia much less the underlying pathophysiology.

The revolutionary good news is now metabolic dysfunction and the resulting chronic diseases can be treated and reversed.

2 - Genetics, Epigenetics, and Proteinomics

In this session we look at the roles that genetics, epigenetics, and proteinomics play in our metabolic health.

Our DNA plays a major role in our risk for chronic disease, not just with ApoE4 and MTHFR alleles but a growing list of other SNPs that influence our metabolism and inflammation.
While directly changing our DNA is very challenging, novel approaches to gene therapy are proving to be the next best thing.

Our epigenetic record is a sensitive record of our lifestyle and its use as a biological clock offers exciting possibilities for monitoring health and longevity.

3 - Nutrition and Chronic Disease

Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food”  - Hippocrates

One of the most powerful health tools that we possess in the battle against all chronic disease is the ability to choose our nutrition. In this session we will look at the strong ties between nutrition and insulin resistance/inflammation as well as how centuries old wisdom influences modern thinking about metabolic health.

4 - Toxins and Deficiencies

In this session we will gain insight on tools to detect toxins and deficiencies that can drive the underlying inflammation and insulin resistance. Most importantly they will discuss the powerful lifestyle strategies to optimize our nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress in order to fully regain our metabolic health.

5 - Tools and Approaches for Reversal

There are many ways to approach metabolic health. Different strategies can work best depending on the situation. In this session we look at several different tools and approaches.

6 - Alzheimer's as a Metabolic Disease

Alzheimer’s disease is the ultimate example of our failure with chronic diseases where we still don’t have even a single drug that will improve even the symptoms of dementia much less the underlying pathophysiology. Maybe our overall model of the disease is wrong.

Alzheimer's disease used to be thought of as a mysterious condition somehow caused by the accumulation of amyloid beta and tau proteins in the brain that was refractory to all attempts and unlimited resources to find a drug to treat it.

It is now increasingly understood to be not a primary brain disease but a complex multifactorial systemic disease manifesting with the cognitive impairment symptoms in the brain.  These causative factors include various toxins, deficiencies, and metabolic dysfunction from insulin resistance and inflammation combined with the individuals' genetic and social history.

7 - The Path to Longevity

Chronic disease, metabolic health, and longevity are closely related. The same factors that improve one, improve all three. In this session we take a deeper dive into how they all work together.

Decades of Research Made Public for the Very First Time in this Revealing Health and Metabolism Summit Video Series Event

The new strategies and protocols revealed in this series are the result of decades of grueling research conducted all across the country, from UCLA to Boston University. They’re assembled together in these interviews for the first time in this one event that changes everything.

Register now to watch this free 7-day online event and your metabolic health will be in your hands. Arm yourself and your loved ones with information from the very doctors and researchers who are changing the future of diseaseLearn from their experience and enhance your life mentally, physically, and emotionally. The sooner you put their advice to work, the lower your risk will be – even as you age.

If you or a loved one is battling chronic disease, or if you want to know how to prevent these diseases from destroying your life, then register now to watch 60 interviews in this free 7-day online video series event. By the conclusion of the event, you’ll know how to create a metabolically healthy future for your entire family, for generations to come.

Again, the best part is, it’s totally free.

“Almost 90% of adult Americans are metabolically unhealthy.”

Robert Lufkin MD, Host and Clinical Professor, USC Keck School of Medicine

We now have the power to prevent (and even reverse in many cases) chronic disease resulting from metabolic dysfunction.

But you can’t save yourself or your family from this cruel disease until you learn the therapies and protocols that are getting real results for real people, right now (you’ll hear some of their amazing stories during the event)!

That’s why the entire 7-day event is absolutely free to anyone who registers for the event. This is your opportunity to see incredibly practical, candid interviews with 60 of the doctors and other experts who are pushing back against this devastating disease.

Each expert will teach you what’s working now in the battle to prevent chronic disease resulting from metabolic dysfunction with natural, integrative therapies. We recommend you watch the entire series with as many family members as possible and share this page with everyone you care about.

The event kicks off and runs for 7 days. Each day’s episodes will be available online for 48 hours, then the next day’s episodes will be loaded for viewing.

When you enter your name and email address to register for the event, you’ll receive your personal viewing link each day via email. Be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for upcoming announcements and further details
